Oppositional Defiant Disorder in Youth

After participating in the presentation, participants will be able to describe the nature of defiant and non-compliant behavior in children.  They will learn what major factors contribute to this difficult-to-manage behavior.  Current treatment methods and rapport-building strategies will be reviewed.

Dr.  Frampton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Co-Founder of Formative Psychological Services, a private practice in Chicago that provides therapy and school-based neuropsychological assessments.  Originally trained as a School Psychologist, he is endorsed as a Director of Special Education in the state of Illinois.  In addition to his work in private practice, he has served as the Principal of a therapeutic day high school for Niles Township High School District 219 and as a consultant to school districts and the juvenile justice system.  He has also presented on a wide variety of mental health and school-related topics.

A Certificate of Attendance can be provided upon request.

Members can receive 1.5 CPDUs through Northeastern Illinois University for this program.
