Study Groups

PLDSE has study groups that meet in members' homes to have more in depth discussions and presentations on topics of interest to the group. Meeting dates and locations are set by the individual groups.   Please email us at pldsechicago@gmail.com to learn more!

NEW DATE: Our current group meets in the North Suburbs, Save the date: THURSDAY,  OCTOBER 27TH for study group.  We decided last spring to try a book this time.  We selected The Curious Incident of the Dog at the Night by Mike Haddon. (The book is written through the eyes of an autistic boy.,) The book was made into a Tony award Musical which is opening in Chicago and will only be here December 6th - 24th. We will have excerpts from the Tony award winning production that was in New York.   Even if you don't read the book the discussion should be very interesting. But we highly recommend the book. Please email us at pldsechicago@gmail.com if you are interested in attending.
