&lt;p style="line-height: 28px;" align="center"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 24px;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Zoom&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 20px;" align="left"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;This presentation will provide an overview of key changes in Federal Education law, policy, and funding since January of 2025, additional changes that are being considered, and the impact of the changes already&amp;nbsp;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;proposed and&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;implemented.&amp;nbsp; Objectives will be to identify strategies that can be used to mitigate the impact of these changes, and to communicate concerns about these changes to the Congress and the Executive Branch.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 20px;" align="left"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;Matt Cohen is the founder of the law firm, Matt Cohen and Associates, and is well know for his work in special education law.&amp;nbsp; He is the primary or collaborating author of several amendments to the mental health and special education laws of Illinois and has worked on the IDEA legislation at the federal level.&amp;nbsp; He has served as the President of CHADD and has authored the book, A Guide to Special Education Advocacy: What Parents, Clinicians, and Advocates Need to Know.&amp;nbsp; From 2017 to the present, he has served as one of the Legal Representatives of the Chicago Public Schools Special Education Advocacy Group.&amp;nbsp; He may be reached at matt@mattcohenandassociates.com.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 20px;" align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font face="Aptos, sans-serif" style="font-size: 16px;"&gt;Members who attend will receive 1.5 CPDUs for this program. Current PLD/SE membership is required for CPDU credits. Members who register will receive a recording.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
